I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were tiny and poorly ventilated but equipped with a small kitchen area with a microwave, which was useful and the price was excellent considering Reykjavik's high prices. However, after a long day touring, all I wanted was a hot shower and comfortable bed to rest in.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was really clean and spacious, but unfortunately had a horrible smell coming from the bathroom which tainted the whole atmosphere. The location was great, central to everything I needed, but the noise from the wind on a stormy night was quite disturbing.
